Author Guidelines

The flow chart of article publication in JATP

  1. Article will be received thoruh the submission process at  http://jatp.ift.or.id/index.php/jatp/announcement/view/21
  2. Aim and scope checking. Pagiarism checking will be applied in this step.
  3. Article will be sent to external reviewer
  4. Author will receive the comment from reviewer
  5. Author should resubmit revised article
  6. Second check and once the article is approved, author will be announced and should pay for publication fee.

General Guidelines

  1. Five article will be offered: Column Article, Letter to Editor, Review Article, Research Article, Research Note. Please choose the suite category for your manuscript. Review article is for invited author only.
  2. Article should be written using MS Word or Open Office, font 12,  Times New Roman, 1,5 space, 1 column. 
  3. Figure, table, and image should be provided in the last page.
  4. Title and abstract should be provide in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  5. General structure for writing: title, author's name, abstract, introduction, material and method, result and discussion, conclusion, references, figure, table, image, and ilustration.
Research Article 
  • This category exposes minimum of 5 parameter of analysis and maximum lenght is 8000 words.
  • Article should be written as this criteria: 
    • Title, maximum is 30 words. 
    • Abstract, maximum is 250 words. 
    • Keywords, the maximum is 5 words. 
    • Introduction. 
    • Material and methods.
    • Result and discussion. 
    • Conclusion. 
    • References. This is the example for writing references: 
      Onbasılar, E.E.,  Erol, H., Cantekin, Z., Kaya, U. 2007. Influence of intermittent lighting on broiler performance, incidence of tibial dyschondroplasia, tonic immobility, some blood parameters and antibody production. J. Anim. Sci., 20(4), 550-555. 
       
      Almatsier, S. 2004. Prinsip Dasar Ilmu Gizi. Cetakan IV, Gramedia Pustaka Utama, Jakarta.

Research Note
  • This category is the article with 2-3 parameter of analysis. The guideline for writing is similar to style at research article and should not exceeded 5000 words.
Column Article 
  • This category exposes the recent update about food and its related field. 
  • Author could arrange the style by him/her self. 
Review Article 
  • Revie article will be offered for invited author only. 
  • Author may arrange the style of writing by him/her self.
  • The length or article 12000 words at maximum.

If your article contain the treatment to animal, please refer to this link. 
 
Article Submission Charge 

No charge will be applied for manuscript submission, but the fee will be applied when the manuscript is accepted for publication in JATP. Please refer to AUTHOR FEE for detail information about fee.

  1. I confirm that the manuscript, or any related manuscript, is not currently under consideration or accepted elsewhere.

  2. I confirm that the manuscript has prepared using MS Word or Libre Office and written as guideline at JATP

  3. I confirm that the metadata in this submission will be correctly filled. Please refere to this link to learn how to fill metadata.

If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
